DAO Governance

Meta BOR is committed to promoting the BOR blockchain through decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance, aiming to establish a community consensus and co-create a new Web3.0 digital ecosystem within the Metaverse. Simultaneous DAO initiatives have been launched in over 100 communities across five major countries globally.

The total amount allocated for community node (DAO) governance is 30% of the BOR token supply, amounting to 48 million tokens, which will be generated through node block production.

Distribution Rules:

  • Meta Nodes + Miner Nodes: 85%

  • Block Production Rewards: 10%

  • Voter Rewards: 5%

(1) Community Node Recruitment

The BOR blockchain network consists of three main types of nodes: Guardian Nodes, Miner Nodes, and Meta Nodes. Currently, the recruitment process seeks 5 Miner Nodes and 7 Meta Nodes, with nodes being evaluated through a last-in-first-out elimination mechanism.

Participation Rules:

  • By staking a minimum of 30,000 BOR, participants can become an initial Meta Node and earn node rewards.

  • By staking a minimum of 200,000 BOR, participants can become an initial Miner Node and earn node rewards as well as block production rewards.

(2) DAO Organization Participation

Every user is a DAO organization voter. By either paying 1 BOR or staking BOR (staking 1 BOR grants 1 TP voting power), users gain the right to vote and participate in the selection of nodes, earning voter rewards for their participation.

This structure ensures that governance remains decentralized, transparent, and community-driven, supporting the long-term development of the BOR blockchain ecosystem.
